Raw Fig Pistachio Walnut Pie
This recipe creates 10-12 Servings (1 Pie). If you can, please use all organic, non-GMO ingredients. For this recipe to be truly raw make sure to pick up nuts and ingredients that saw “RAW”.
Prep: Soak all nuts overnight or 5-7 hours before making (instead of baking ;)).
Pie Crust:
- 2C Almonds
- 1C Brazil Nuts,
- 3T Coconut Oil,
- 2-3T Local Honey
- 1tsp Celtic Sea Salt
Blend nuts in food processor. Double boil coconut oil and honey until fluid then add to the food processor and mix with nuts. If you need to add more of anything, feel free!
Pie Filling:
- 1/2C Dried Figs
- 1/2C Walnuts
- 1/4C Soaked Pistachios
- 1/2-1 Fresh Lemon (Juice)
- 2 Fresh Pears
- 2T Coconut Oil
- 2T Local Honey
- 1/2tsp Cardamon
- 1T Cinnamon
- 1/2T Pumpkin Spice Blend
- Vanilla Bean (1/4″ piece)
- A dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in food processor. Taste and add more honey if you’d like it more sweet!
